How it works
Use _ or ? for one unknown letter and * for any number of letters, including none. The pattern has to match the whole word.
You can also require letters that occur somewhere in the word, or exclude letters you have already ruled out, for example in a word game.

s__rt matches five-letter words that start with s and end with rt. c*t matches every word that starts with c and ends with t, of any length.

Yes. Enter the green letters in their position, for example ??a?e, add the yellow letters under 'Must contain letters' and the gray ones under 'Exclude letters'.
